The installation works were completed in coordination with the wider project team to ensure the systems integrated effectively with the building’s mechanical infrastructure while meeting the operational and environmental requirements typical of pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
Project Name:
Pfizer DS2 Grangecastle
Location:
Dublin, Ireland
The Pfizer DS2 facility at Grange Castle Business Park in South Dublin forms part of Pfizer’s major biotechnology manufacturing campus, one of the largest integrated biopharmaceutical production sites in Ireland. The campus sits on a 90-acre site and represents Pfizer’s largest investment in Ireland, with buildings and facilities extending to over one million square feet. The Grange Castle site supports the production of complex biological medicines and vaccines for global markets and plays a significant role within Pfizer’s international manufacturing network.
The DS2 project is a new biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility developed to expand drug-substance production capacity at the campus. The development includes a six-storey steel and concrete manufacturing building, housing advanced process equipment and infrastructure to support large-scale cell culture and purification processes used in modern biologic drug manufacturing.
