Project Name:

Vantage DUB 12 Data Centre

Location:

Dublin, Ireland

The Vantage DUB12 Data Centre forms part of the expanding Vantage DUB1 campus in Profile Park, Grange Castle, South Dublin, one of Ireland’s most significant digital infrastructure developments. The campus is being delivered as a multi-phase hyperscale data centre development valued at over €1 billion, supporting the growing demand for cloud computing, data storage and global connectivity. Located on a 22-acre site approximately 15 km from Dublin city centre, the campus will deliver around 38,000 m² (405,000 sq ft) of data centre space and provide 52 MW of IT capacity across its first two facilities, forming a key component of Ireland’s rapidly expanding data centre sector.

As part of the mechanical services works for the project, Kelly RAC delivered HVAC installation services on behalf of Kirby Group Engineering, working in accordance with the design prepared by Burns & McDonnell Consulting Engineers. The scope of works included the installation and commissioning of a 2-pipe Daikin VRV air conditioning system, providing efficient and reliable climate control within designated areas of the facility.

The systems were installed to support stable indoor environmental conditions while meeting the operational performance and efficiency requirements typical of modern hyperscale data centre environments. All works were carried out in coordination with the wider mechanical services team to ensure seamless integration with the building services infrastructure and compliance with project specifications.
